Chiba Port Tower, Observation tower in Chiba Port Park, Japan
The 125-meter steel tower features a glass-enclosed observation deck at 112 meters, offering panoramic views of Tokyo Bay and Mount Fuji.
Chiba Port Tower opened in June 1986 to commemorate the achievement of five million residents in Chiba Prefecture, marking a period of rapid growth.
The tower participates in the Japan Night View Heritage program and holds regular exhibitions about local maritime traditions in its exhibition space.
Visitors can access the tower through Chiba Minato Station, with admission fees of 420 yen for adults and 200 yen for students.
The observation deck contains specialized heart-shaped chairs and fortune-telling machines, earning its designation as an official Lover's Sanctuary location.
