The park was established in 2000 on the former site of a meat processing facility, transforming the industrial area into a recreational space.

The park serves as a training ground for Cerezo Osaka soccer club's youth teams and hosts regular sports programs for local children.

Visitors can access the park through multiple routes, including a 20-minute walk from Kishisato Station on the Yotsubashi Line or Tengachaya Station.

The park contains numerous cherry trees of late-blooming varieties such as Satozakura and Yaezakura, creating seasonal displays throughout spring.
