大池いこいの森, Recreational park in Joetsu, Japan.

Oike Ikoi no Mori encompasses two connected lakes, Big Pond and Small Pond, surrounded by walking trails within Chomine Matsunoyama Natural Park.

The park area was designated as Chomine Matsunoyama Oike Prefectural Natural Park in 1959 and transferred from Niigata Prefecture to Kubiki Village in 1987.

The park holds the annual Oike Festival on September 23rd, featuring local traditions and carp-based culinary specialties from the resident ponds.

The visitor center operates from 9 AM to 5 PM, with three camping areas equipped with cooking facilities and bathrooms available from April to November.

The lakes contain a population of carp that supports local restaurants, making it a destination for fish enthusiasts and outdoor dining experiences.
