大貞公園

Osada Park spans 9.5 hectares and features two natural ponds, Kami-ike and Sankaku-ike, along with extensive sports facilities and play areas for children.

The park's origins date back to the early Taisho period when local residents planted hundreds of cherry tree saplings, which continued to grow despite interruptions during World War II.

The park hosts the annual Osada Park Cherry Blossom Festival from late March to early April, when 1,300 cherry trees bloom and illuminate the grounds at night.

Visitors can access the park via a 20-minute bus ride from JR Nakatsu Station to the Osada Park stop, followed by a 3-minute walk, with free parking available for 30 vehicles.

The park includes the Daihatsu Kyushu Stadium, which hosted official games of the Kyushu Asia League in 2022 for the Fukuoka Kitakyushu Phoenix team.
