The park stands on the ancestral grounds of the Kai Genji clan in Hirashio, representing centuries of Japanese cultural evolution.

The facility functions as a center for calligraphy arts, offering visitors opportunities to practice traditional ink rubbing techniques on stone inscriptions.

Entry costs 600 yen for adults, 500 yen for high school students, and 250 yen for elementary and middle school students, with free admission for local residents.

From 2018, the park hosts annual Valentine's Day illumination events featuring fire performances, light shows, and fireworks displays.
