Shin-Yotsugi Bridge

Shin-Yotsugi Bridge connects Yahiro and Yotsugi neighborhoods with contemporary design featuring distinctive yellow structural elements. The cable-stayed construction with curved railings spans multiple waterways and offers a smooth, well-lit surface for pedestrians and cyclists.

This crossing location served as an important passage point between communities during the Edo period and supported trade routes in this Tokyo region. The modern bridge structure was later built to improve direct connections between Yahiro and Yotsugi while meeting contemporary transportation needs.

Residents have decorated the bridge railings with seasonal ornaments and displays that reflect local traditions. The crossing serves as a natural gathering point where people pause to take in views of Tokyo Skytree and the waterways below.

Access is by foot or bicycle only, with motor vehicles prohibited. The walk from Yotsugi Station on the Keisei Oshiage Line takes roughly 8 minutes, and the route is clearly marked along the way.

Photographers position themselves slightly left of the bridge's center line to capture Tokyo Skytree framed perfectly through the architectural lines. These shots have become popular on social media, encouraging many visitors to recreate the same composition.
