本郷ふじやま公園

The Hongo Fujiyama Park spreads across 9 hectares of land, featuring traditional Japanese gardens, bamboo forests, and walking paths through natural landscapes.

The park opened in June 2000, preserving a significant Edo-period farmhouse that belonged to the Koiwai family, complete with its original gate house.

The park maintains a dedicated crafts building where visitors participate in traditional Japanese art workshops and experience local cultural activities.

Located at 56 Nakano-cho in Sakae Ward, the park remains open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with free admission to all areas except the historic farmhouse zone.

Two extensive bamboo groves, each covering 2 hectares, create distinct sections within the park, offering seasonal changes throughout the year.
