洞雲寺, Buddhist temple in Tokoname, Japan.
The main hall of Touun-ji Temple features traditional Buddhist architectural elements with a central altar housing a statue of Buddha Shakyamuni.
Originally established during the Edo period by monk Isshi Bunshu, who founded the temple after separating from his previous Buddhist affiliation.
The temple belongs to the Soto school of Buddhism, where monthly meditation sessions take place on the fifteenth day of each month.
Visitors can access the temple grounds between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM, with guided tours available through local volunteer organizations.
The temple grounds contain two distinct gardens named Suikin and Binoo, which display seasonal changes through cherry blossoms and autumn leaves.
