Tabata Memorial Museum of Writers and Artists

The Tabata Memorial Museum of Writers and Artists presents collections of manuscripts, letters, and artifacts from notable Japanese authors and creative figures.

The museum opened its doors in November 1993 to document and preserve the contributions of writers and artists who lived in the Tabata neighborhood.

Each exhibition space within the museum features detailed displays about different Japanese literary movements and their connections to the local community.

Located at 6-1-2 Tabata in Tokyo's Kita ward, the museum welcomes visitors from Tuesday through Sunday between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
