Tsutsujigaoka Park, Public park in Tatebayashi, Japan.

The park features 10,000 azalea plants of 50 different varieties spread across 49,890 square meters of landscaped grounds in Gunma Prefecture.

Originally established as a garden for the daimyo of Tatebayashi Domain during the early Edo period, the park received national recognition as a Place of Scenic Beauty in 1934.

The park appears on the 'ha' card in Jomo Karuta, a traditional card game that represents important locations and elements of Gunma Prefecture culture.

Visitors can reach the park by taking a 30-minute walk from Tatebayashi Station on the Tobu Isesaki Line, with admission fees applying during azalea season.

The park houses the Space Azalea, developed from seeds that traveled aboard the Columbia space shuttle with astronaut Chiaki Mukai.
