航空館boon, Aviation science museum in Toyoyama, Japan
The Kohkuhkan Boon museum displays real aircraft including a Mitsubishi MU-2A3 and a Kawasaki Hughes 369HS helicopter in its exhibition space.
The facility opened on April 1, 2005, following the transfer of materials from the former Nagoya Airport Aviation and Space Museum after its closure.
The museum features educational zones where children learn about flight principles through computer quizzes and interactive exhibits about aircraft manufacturing.
Located at 120-1 Shinmei, Aoyama, Toyoyama, the museum opens from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with free admission and parking for 127 vehicles.
Visitors can observe passenger planes and Self-Defense Force aircraft taking off from Nagoya Airport through the observation deck.
