ワールド牧場

World Ranch is a sprawling animal facility near Kanan with over 100 species and 1,000 animals, including Percheron horses, Irish Wolfhounds, and Flemish Giant rabbits. The grounds allow visitors to move freely among the different creatures throughout the property.

The farm opened on April 22, 1989, and quickly became a major site for human-animal interaction in the Kansai region. It grew into a model for animal facilities across Japan.

The place encourages hands-on interactions with animals through activities like walking sheep, feeding goats, and milking cows. These experiences show how much Japanese visitors value spending time directly with different creatures.

The grounds are spacious and accessible on foot, though sturdy shoes are recommended. There are plenty of rest areas and shaded spots to take breaks while exploring.

Visitors can rent dogs as companions while exploring the grounds and collect fresh eggs straight from the chickens. What sets it apart is the option to sleep overnight in log cabins situated right on the property.
