The Ryozen Children Village extends across Mount Ryo, offering multiple trails and viewing spots among maple and zelkova trees at 825 meters altitude.

The area holds significance as the location of ancient Ryozen Temple, established by Buddhist monk Ennin approximately 1,200 years ago on Mount Ryo.

The site connects to Mount Ryo's Buddhist heritage, where 3,600 practitioners once gathered to study and meditate in the religious center of Tohoku.

Visitors can explore a 4-kilometer hiking route from the trailhead at 530 meters to Hiroshi-monomi Rock, passing through notable locations like Hoju-dai.

The park features distinctive rock formations including Higurashi Rock and Oyashirazu-koshirazu, a narrow path allowing only single-file passage between steep cliffs.
