北湧別鬱金香公園

The Kamiyubetsu Tulip Park contains over one million tulips across 12.5 hectares of land, with 7 hectares dedicated to flower fields displaying 120 varieties.

Local farmers established this agricultural project in 2000 to transform their fields into a public space that would support regional tourism and economic growth.

The park incorporates Dutch architectural elements, including a windmill observation tower that provides views across the expansive tulip fields.

The park reaches peak bloom around May 20th each year and includes visitor facilities such as cafes, gift shops, walking paths, and designated photography points.

Fifty new tulip varieties are introduced annually to maintain plant diversity, with specimens sourced directly from the Netherlands and Japanese cultivators.
