The Izumi Agricultural Cooperative is a farming organization in Isumi City, Chiba Prefecture, with ten branch offices spread across the region. From Katsuura to Oohara, these locations provide farmers with financial services, agricultural supplies, and marketing assistance.

The cooperative was founded in October 2000 through the joining together of several local farming organizations. This merger was designed to strengthen and improve agricultural support across the Isumi region.

The cooperative strengthens ties between local farmers who work together to keep rice farming practices alive in this region. Farmers gather here as a community to support one another and maintain the agricultural way of life that defines their area.

Visiting is straightforward since the ten branches are spread across different towns, and you can choose the location closest to you. Most offices are situated in central areas and accessible on foot or by public transport.

The cooperative runs Greenspace Isumi, a direct sales marketplace where local farmers sell their fresh harvest straight to customers. Visitors can purchase produce here and speak directly with the farmers who grew it.
