Established in 1995, the institution preserves significant archaeological findings from local excavations and nationally registered tangible folk cultural properties.
The exhibits present the daily life patterns of mountain village inhabitants through collections of everyday objects and Jomon period artifacts.
The facility operates daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offering free admission and parking spaces for visitors arriving by car.
The museum runs a special Stone Rod Club initiative since 2019, connecting local history enthusiasts with archaeological discoveries from the region.
