April 25 House of Culture, Cultural center in Moranbong District, Pyongyang, North Korea
The April 25 House of Culture extends 176 meters deep and 105 meters wide, featuring a grand colonnade facade and reaching 50 meters in height.
Built between 1974 and 1975, the structure was originally named February 8 House of Culture before its dedication to the Korean People's Army foundation date.
The building contains three performance spaces: two theaters accommodating 6,000 and 1,100 people respectively, plus a 600-seat cinema for various entertainment events.
Located near the Taedong River, the venue serves as the headquarters for the April 25th Culture and Art Composition Office, organizing military cultural programs.
The structure hosted significant diplomatic meetings, including the 2007 summit between Kim Jong-il and South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun.
