Užugirio dvaras, Manor house in Ukmergė district, Lithuania
Užugirio dvaras is a two-story modernist manor house near Lake Lėnas in Ukmergė district. The grounds blend formal gardens with natural woodland, connected by birch tree lined paths.
The property belonged to the Radvila family during the 18th century before becoming President Antanas Smetona's residence in 1934. Under his ownership, the estate became linked to Lithuania's interwar period.
The manor includes exhibitions about interwar Lithuania, displaying President Smetona's study and Sofija Smetonienė's personal quarters with period furnishings.
The grounds are easy to walk around, with paths clearly marked through gardens and along the lakeside. The visitor center offers regular guided tours and hands-on workshops about regional crafts.
The manor preserves President Smetona's original study with period furniture and personal documents from his time there. The rooms show how a leading Lithuanian political figure of the early 20th century lived and worked.
