Tilburg railway station

The main train station of Tilburg features two rail lines connecting the city with Breda, Eindhoven, and Nijmegen through regular intercity services.

The railway station, which opened on October 5, 1863, housed substantial locomotive maintenance facilities in its northern section until their relocation to Loven-Noord in 2013.

Architects Karel van Brederode and Koen van der Gaast designed this Rijksmonument station building, incorporating reconstruction period architectural elements from the 1960s.

Nine city bus lines operated by Arriva connect the station to various parts of Tilburg, while two secure bicycle storage facilities serve commuters.

The station maintains regular connections to major Dutch cities with two intercity services per hour and provides night train service to Rotterdam during weekends.
