Sint-Bonifatiuskerk

Sint-Bonifatiuskerk is a neo-Gothic church featuring a 75-meter tower topped with a copper spire that has turned green with age. The interior has cross-ribbed vaults and a five-sided apse fitted with colored glass windows.

A parish dedicated to Saint Bonifatius has existed since the 13th century, though the current building was constructed between 1889 and 1897. This neo-Gothic structure replaced an earlier church as the community grew and its resources expanded.

The interior displays artwork created in the early 1900s that reflects the devotion of the Catholic community who built this space. You can see how parishioners honored their faith through commissioned paintings and decorated altars over the generations.

The church is located in a residential neighborhood and can be visited during service times or designated hours. Visitors should be respectful since it remains an active place of worship.

The colored glass windows in the apse were installed as recently as 1998, bringing modern artistry to the historic interior. This late addition shows how the church has continued to evolve while maintaining its original character.
