Nicolaaskerk

Nicolaaskerk is a church building in Stadskanaal constructed in the Gothic style, featuring four bays, a five-sided choir section, and a robust brick tower capped with a masonry spire. The structure is made of red brick and presents a clear, organized layout that is easy to read from the outside.

The tower was built in the 14th century, while the church body was completed at the start of the 16th century. Two major renovations in the 19th century brought significant changes to the structure.
