't Hammetje, Folly in Vathorst, Netherlands.

The structure contains two towers named Willem I and Willem II, set within an 8-hectare property that includes a de-sanding pond near the A28 motorway.

Willem Ham started building this architectural creation in 1988 as a defense against the urban expansion of Amersfoort, using field stones and sewer pipes.

The site features multiple constructed islands, with two named after Wadden Islands Texel and Rottum, plus another shaped to represent a human figure.

Guided tours of the property require advance registration through email at ovf-vathorst@outlook.com, with sessions available at 11:00, 13:00, and 15:00 hours.

During bird flu outbreaks in 2003 and 2006, the property lost hundreds of birds including chickens, peacocks, and ducks through preventive culling measures.
