The Zwanenbroedershuis exhibits artifacts from the 16th and 17th centuries, including handwritten choir books, antique chairs, and neogothic furniture at Hinthamerstraat 94.
The Illustre Lieve Vrouwe Broederschap, founded in 1318, moved to this location in 1484 after Gijsbertus van der Poorten donated his property De Pauw.
The museum displays weapons, heraldic records, and coats of arms that document the history of brotherhood members, including William of Orange.
Museum admission costs 5 euros for visitors aged 12 and older, with free entry for children under 11, operating Tuesday through Thursday afternoons and Sundays.
The building received its current neogothic design in 1846 by architect Jacobus Henricus Laffertée, following the collapse of the original structure in 1839.
