Slot Rossum

Slot Rossum is a neo-Tudor castle in Rossum village built in the mid-19th century with a rectangular footprint positioned behind the dike. The building now serves as the town hall for Maasdriel municipality while retaining its distinctive historical architecture.

The castle was built in the mid-19th century by Baron van Randwijck on the foundations of a medieval fortification dating from the 13th century. This reconstruction demonstrates how the region adapted and updated its historic structures for contemporary use.
