Verdensparken

The park extends over 52 decares of land, featuring multiple meeting spots with benches, grilling areas, a brook, and recreational facilities for visitors.

Verdensparken opened in 2013 as part of the Groruddalsatsingen initiative, which developed four district parks across different neighborhoods of Groruddalen in Oslo.

The park's design reflects the diversity of Furuset's population, where residents from 140 different countries contribute to the local community.

Visitors can access seven designated meeting areas equipped with seating, grills, and fire pits, while children enjoy the dedicated play area with sculptures.

The facility houses Norway's first parkour training area, complete with obstacles, strength training equipment, and a bouldering wall for physical activities.
