Prabuty

Prabuty is a town in Pomeranian Voivodeship located near the Wyżyca River, holding a central position within Kwidzyn County. The area features flat terrain and functions as a transport hub for surrounding communities.

The area was originally a castle documented in 1250, later known as Riesenburg in early records. It received city rights in 1330, marking its development into a regional center.

The town holds traces of its Jewish past, including an old cemetery that speaks to the diverse communities who once lived here.
