Theater Scena STU occupies a former cinema building on Krasińskiego Street near the Vistula River, offering performances in a 236-seat auditorium.
Established in 1966 by Krzysztof Jasiński, the theater began as a student initiative and evolved into a professional municipal institution through multiple location changes.
The theater staged influential performances including 'Spadanie', 'Sennik polski', and 'Exodus', which addressed critical social themes during the 1970s.
Theater Scena STU maintains an active calendar with regular performances, including works by Polish and international playwrights throughout the theatrical season.
From its initial 27-seat venue on Bracka Street, the theater once operated in a circus tent that accommodated 1,000 spectators before settling in its current location.
