Basilica on the Holy Mountain

The basilica features a central dome with a lantern, surrounded by four towers and decorated with polychrome paintings from 1746 inside the cupola.

Construction of the basilica began in 1675 under Adam Konarzewski's funding and was completed in 1698, following the design of Santa Maria della Salute in Venice.

The basilica holds regular services and houses a miraculous painting of the Mother of God with Child, created by an anonymous Greater Poland artist in 1540.

Visitors can attend masses daily at 6:30, 7:00, 8:00, and 19:00, with additional services on Sundays at 7:30, 9:00, 10:30, 12:00, 15:00, and 17:00.

The church complex represents the sole example of pure Italian baroque architecture in Poland, designed by Venetian architects Jerzy and Jan Catenazzi.
