Dworek Karscha w Kielcach, Manor house near Jana Pawła II Street, Kielce, Poland
The single-story Karsch Manor features a columned portico entrance and stands at the intersection of Jana Pawła II and Ogrodowa streets.
Originally a bishops' farm called Psiarnia in the 18th century, the manor was designed by architect Aleksander Dunin Borkowski in the first half of the 19th century.
From 1888 to 1890, painter Jan Styka, creator of the Racławice Panorama, lived and worked in this manor, as commemorated by a plaque on its facade.
The building currently houses offices and a pub, with nearby public transportation connections and access to the red city trail of Kielce.
The Stumpf family, who owned the manor, built a brewery next to the property that operated until the 1920s, with ruins still visible today.
