Ukraiński Cmentarz Wojskowy w Kaliszu, Military cemetery in Szczypiorno, Kalisz, Poland.
The cemetery occupies 0.17 hectares of land and contains numerous graves marked with Ukrainian inscriptions and military symbols at Ukrainska Street.
Established in 1914 as a prisoner cemetery for Russian, English, and French soldiers, it transformed into a Ukrainian military burial ground in 1921.
The cemetery features a monument erected in 1923 with the inscription 'Pro Ukraine libertate mortuis' commemorating soldiers who fought for independence.
The cemetery grounds are maintained by the city of Kalisz and underwent significant reconstruction between 1995 and 2001, reopening to visitors in 1999.
The cemetery serves as the final resting place for Ukrainian soldiers who were interned in Poland after World War I.
