Ukraiński Cmentarz Wojskowy w Kaliszu

The Ukrainian Military Cemetery in Kalisz is a burial ground in the Szczypiorno district covering about 0.17 hectares. Graves marked with Ukrainian inscriptions and military symbols line the Ukrainska Street throughout the grounds.

The cemetery was established in 1914 as a prisoner burial ground for soldiers from Russia, Britain, and France. After World War I, it became a Ukrainian military burial ground in 1921, marking a significant shift in its purpose.
