Vasa Chapel, Baroque chapel in Old Town Kraków, Poland.

The Vasa Chapel features detailed decorative elements, sculptures, and paintings that demonstrate the architectural characteristics of the Baroque period at Wawel Cathedral.

King Sigismund III Vasa commissioned the construction of this chapel in the early 17th century, selecting architect Constantino Tencalla to lead the project.

The interior contains the coat of arms of Poland, Lithuania, and Sweden, representing the territories under Vasa family rule during their reign.

The chapel remains open to visitors as part of the Wawel Cathedral complex, with guided tours available throughout the regular operating hours.

The chapel functions as a mausoleum for members of the Vasa dynasty, the Swedish royal family that produced three Polish kings between 1587 and 1668.
