Collegiate church in Łask

The Collegiate Church in Łask is a religious building featuring three naves, two towers with onion-shaped domes, and a polygonal chancel with brick walls and barrel vaults. The structure's distinctive towers dominate the skyline and serve as key architectural features of the design.

The church was built between 1517 and 1523 at the request of Jan Łaski, reflecting noble investment in religious architecture of that period. Following a fire in 1749, part of the church's treasury was sold to fund reconstruction efforts.

The church houses an alabaster relief of the Holy Mother with Child by Andrea della Robbia, a papal gift from 1515 that demonstrates the artistic connections between Italy and Poland during the Renaissance.

The church is located near the central market square of Łask and is accessible by public transportation. Visitors can enter during regular opening hours, and it is advisable to check access conditions in advance.

Inside the church is a small museum displaying historical liturgical books and religious objects from different periods. This collection offers insight into spiritual practices and religious traditions across several centuries.
