Jezioro Chomiąskie, Lake with clear waters in Chomiąża Szlachecka, Poland
Located in the Żnin-Mogilno Lake District, Lake Chomiąskie extends over 102 hectares with a maximum depth of 34.3 meters and an average depth of 9.7 meters.
Water quality tests conducted in 1996 and 2005 classified Lake Chomiąskie as a Grade II water body, indicating consistent environmental standards over the years.
The lake takes its name from the adjacent village of Chomiąża Szlachecka, following official designation by the Commission for Names of Localities and Physiographic Objects.
The eastern section of Lake Chomiąskie contains minimal vegetation, making it an effective location for bank fishing with catches including pike, zander, and catfish.
The lake features a drainage outlet measuring 2 meters in width that connects directly to Lake Folusz, creating an interconnected water system.
