Saint Barbara church in Gdańsk

The brick church features a four-sided tower tilted from the axis of the nave, with large pointed windows containing tracery in the eastern wall.

Originally built as a wooden chapel in 1387, the structure transformed into a parish church by 1456 and underwent multiple reconstructions due to fires between 1490 and 1499.

The church building, measuring 31.3 meters long and 18.4 meters wide, represents the religious heritage of medieval Gdańsk through its Gothic architectural elements.

Services occur on Sundays at 7:00, 8:30, 10:00, 11:15, 12:30, and 15:00, with a Latin Mass at 19:00, while weekday masses take place at 6:30 and 18:00.

The southern aisle, added between 1726 and 1728 due to population growth, was later demolished in 1966 following World War II damage.
