Nowy Dom Zdrojowy

Nowy Dom Zdrojowy is a modernist building at the foot of Park Mountain featuring marine-style interiors with wave-shaped mirrors and characteristic round glass doors. The facility contains 243 rooms including apartments and studios, offering medical treatments, wellness services, and specialized dietary programs.

Built between 1937 and 1939 under architect Witold Minkiewicz's design, the building replaced the former Black Eagle Guesthouse that had included Roman Nitribitt's pharmacy. This reconstruction marked a shift in the development of the spa town during the prewar period.

The building serves as a meeting place for scientists, artists, and politicians, hosting the annual Economic Forum each year. Visitors can observe how different professional communities gather here for conferences and cultural events.

The building is easily accessible and centrally located in the spa town with direct access to the promenade and surrounding park paths. Note that modern facilities make navigation comfortable, though some areas may be restricted during conferences and events.

The building incorporates ship-like elements throughout its design, featuring chrome steel railings and expansive terraces overlooking the promenade and Krynica's panorama. This nautical inspiration reflects the era of its creation, when ocean liners shaped the design aesthetic of the time.
