Muzeum Nikifora w Krynicy-Zdroju

The Nikifor Museum occupies a wooden villa called Romanówka, situated along the Dietl Boulevard in the center of the spa town Krynica-Zdrój.

The museum building, constructed in the second half of the 19th century as a guest house in Swiss style, became a protected heritage site in 1972.

The collection includes 77 works by Nikifor, displaying Beskid landscapes, self-portraits, military scenes, churches, and railway stations painted in watercolor and gouache.

Visitors can explore the museum Tuesday through Sunday, with extended hours on weekdays from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and reduced hours on weekends.

The museum preserves personal belongings and artworks of Nikifor, who created his paintings on unconventional materials such as cigarette boxes during the early 20th century.
