St Anne's Chapel, Pińczów, Mannerist chapel on St Anne's Hill, Pińczów, Poland
The square-shaped chapel stands 13 meters tall, featuring a dome with a lantern and constructed from local Pińczów limestone known as pinczak stone.
Italian architect Santi Gucci designed the chapel around 1600 for Margrave Zygmunt Myszkowski, incorporating it into the defensive system of Pińczów castle.
The chapel marks the development of Saint Anne's religious following in Pińczów, evidenced by a late Gothic statue in the local Saint John the Evangelist church.
Visitors can access the chapel during specific dates, including July 26 for Saint Anne's Day and May 2 for Marian songs performances.
This structure represents Poland's first freestanding domed chapel built exclusively for religious purposes, with remnants of fortifications visible on northern and eastern sides.
