Church of the Visitation in Pińczów, Gothic church building in Pińczów, Poland

The Church of the Visitation is a Gothic church in Pińczów with a stone bell tower holding medieval bells. The building sits adjacent to a Renaissance pavilion and a historical Italian garden on the grounds.

The church emerged as a Gothic structure and later became an important center during the Reformation. Jan Łaski, a prominent reformer, was buried here and shaped the site's history until his death in 1560.

The interior features numerous preserved Gothic elements and religious artworks that represent the architectural evolution of sacred buildings in southern Poland.

The site is best explored with guided tours that allow visitors to see the church interior and the surrounding structures and gardens. The best time to visit is on sunny days when the garden and historic details of the complex are clearly visible.

The grounds contain an early 19th-century cemetery with stone sepulchral monuments, including the tomb of Countess Wanda Katarzyna Morand, daughter of a Napoleonic general. These burial markers provide insight into the regional elites of the Napoleonic era.
