Church of the Visitation in Pińczów, Gothic church building in Pińczów, Poland
The Church of the Visitation stands as a religious structure with a stone belfry containing medieval bells, including one from Cardinal Zbigniew Oleśnicki.
The church holds significance as a former center for the Calvinist community, where reformer Jan Łaski, who died in 1560, remains buried.
The interior features numerous preserved Gothic elements and religious artworks that represent the architectural evolution of sacred buildings in southern Poland.
Visitors can access the church through guided tours, which include exploration of the Renaissance pavilion and the adjacent historical Italian garden.
The structure contains an early 19th-century cemetery with sepulchral sculptures, including the grave of Countess Wanda Katarzyna Morand, daughter of a Napoleonic general.
