Lipka, Złotów County, Administrative village in Złotów County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, Poland
Lipka is a village in Złotów County located in the Krajna region of northern Greater Poland. The settlement sits on flat terrain surrounded by farmland characteristic of this agricultural area.
The village entered the Polish state in the 10th century under Mieszko I and came under Prussian control during the First Partition of 1772. The arrival of a railway later reshaped how the community developed and connected with the wider region.
The name comes from a type of linden tree that grows throughout this region. Residents have maintained strong ties to farming, and you can see this in the traditional buildings and daily rhythms of village life.
A train station in the village provides rail connections to neighboring areas. Keep in mind this is a small settlement, so services and shops are limited and you should plan accordingly.
The village installed one of the first electrically powered threshing machines in the region during the late 1800s. This technological advance helped farmers process their harvest more quickly at that time.
