Assumption of Mary Church in Bielawa

The Assumption of Mary Church stands 101 meters tall with three naves, constructed from brick in a cruciform layout with two prominent towers.

The church construction occurred between 1868 and 1876 under the guidance of architect Alexis Langer from Wrocław, with consecration by Dean Adolf Rinke.

The main altar displays a canvas painting of the Assumption of Mary from 1913, surrounded by neo-gothic interior decorations and a 30-voice organ.

The church underwent extensive renovations in the 1990s, including new heating systems, sound equipment installation, and structural improvements to the floor and towers.

The building features a copper-sheet covered roof and large tower, installed in 1976, along with a cathedral altar and rood screen added in 1992.
