Hagia Sophia Orthodox church in Warsaw, Eastern Orthodox church in Ursynów district, Warsaw, Poland.

Hagia Sophia is an Eastern Orthodox church made of brick located in the Ursynów district of Warsaw, measuring 369 meters long and 30 meters wide. The structure displays architectural features inspired by Orthodox design principles and stands as a notable landmark in this residential neighborhood.

The church opened in 2020, representing the first Orthodox church building constructed in Warsaw after more than a century without such development. This completion filled a significant gap in the city's religious architecture.

This church serves as a central gathering place for Orthodox believers in Warsaw, where traditional liturgies and ceremonies connect the community to their faith. The interior follows Orthodox traditions in how it is arranged and decorated, reflecting the spiritual values of those who worship here.

The church is located in the southern part of Warsaw and is most easily accessed by public transportation, particularly the metro line M1 to Wilanowska station. From there, visitors can board buses that bring them conveniently to the location.

The interior is being decorated gradually while services continue, giving visitors a rare view of a sacred space still being completed. This ongoing process allows worshippers and guests to witness the artistic enhancement unfold over time.
