Pszczelnik park, Urban park in Siemianowice Śląskie, Poland.
Pszczelnik Park is a 26-hectare recreational space in Siemianowice Śląskie featuring an outdoor swimming pool, sports facilities, and tennis courts. The area also contains around 8 hectares of woodland with hornbeam trees, floodplain sections, and mature oak and beech specimens.
The site originated as part of the Bienenhof farm estate in the mid-1800s and was converted into a park around 1870. It was later registered as a protected monument of Silesian Voivodeship.
The name comes from the Polish word for beekeeper, reflecting the site's past use as a beekeeping area. Today, visitors can see how the park blends wooded sections with open spaces within the urban setting.
The park is easily accessible with pathways through both wooded and open areas. Wear sturdy footwear, especially in wet weather, as some forest sections can become muddy.
The northern section contains remnants of a former sandpit that operated until the 1950s. These excavations created terrain depressions that now support varied plant life.
