Plasza

Plasza is a mountain summit near Solina that rises above the valley and offers wide views across Lake Solińskie and the surrounding Carpathian ranges. From the highest point, you can look out in all directions and see the landscape spread below you.

The summit became more widely known in the 1960s when construction of the Solińskie reservoir changed the region. Since then, it has served hikers as a natural anchor point in the reshaped landscape.

Local hiking groups maintain traditional summer gatherings at Plasza summit, marking seasonal celebrations with regional mountain songs and customs.

Marked hiking trails lead up to Plasza, with the main path starting near Solina Dam and providing a direct route to the summit. Wear good hiking shoes and allow time for the climb, especially if you want to spend time enjoying the views at the top.

From the summit, you can take in both the impressive dam structure and the natural mountain ranges in a single view. This perspective shows how human infrastructure and wild nature meet at this location.
