Wieża widokowa na Borowej is an observation tower in Jedlina-Zdrój made of steel with a spiraling staircase inside that climbs to a viewing platform. From the top, visitors can see the surrounding mountains and forested valleys of the area.
The tower was completed in 2017 as part of a regional development project for the area. Its construction marked a new landmark for the growing tourism in the region.
The structure received recognition from the Lower Silesian Chamber of Civil Engineers as the best construction project of 2017.
The tower is accessible via marked hiking trails that connect several points throughout the mountain landscape. Wear sturdy shoes as the paths go through forest and hilly terrain.
The structure is built from 32 steel columns arranged at particular angles that create a hyperboloid shape. This engineering approach allows the tower to be both sturdy and visually striking.
