Adria cinema

Adria Cinema is an entertainment venue in Teofilów-Wielkopolska featuring modern architectural design with a striking facade and a large screen in its main auditorium. The building housed advanced projection equipment and climate control systems to maintain comfortable conditions for viewers.

The venue opened on April 30, 1975, under the name Iwanowo, reflecting a partnership between Łódź and the Russian city of Ivanovo. It operated as a cinema until 2001, serving the community for more than 25 years.

During its operational period from 1975 to 2001, the cinema presented both Polish and international films, maintaining 570 seats for regular screenings.

Staff members in green uniforms guided visitors to their assigned seats during screenings. The facility was well-equipped and easy to access for regular cinema visits.

During the early 1990s, the venue added video screenings in its lobby area, arranging chairs around a television set with a VCR. This creative use of space brought a new way to watch films beyond traditional theater screenings.
