Warcino Palace, 19th century palace in Warcino, Poland.
Warcino Palace is a 19th century mansion in Pomerania with multiple architectural wings and an eastern section built in 1872. The building combines traditional regional design elements with a spatial arrangement that extends across several hectares surrounded by various auxiliary structures.
Otto von Bismarck acquired the estate in 1867 and made it one of his main residences during his tenure as Chancellor of Germany. Under his management, the property became an important political and private center that hosted significant visitors and decisions.
The building now serves as a forestry school and preserves several original rooms such as the fireplace room, hunting hall, and white salon that reflect its former use as a residential estate.
Access to the building is limited since it currently functions as an educational facility and is not freely open to the public. To visit the grounds or learn more about its history, it is advisable to contact local authorities in advance.
A burial site on Bismarck Hill contains the remains of multiple generations of the von Bismarck family. This private family grave on the grounds offers a rare glimpse into the personal side of the famous politician and his relatives.
