Estádio Municipal de Aveiro, Multi-purpose stadium in Tabueira, Portugal

The stadium features a distinctive steel roof structure with red pylons supporting blue edges above multicolored seats arranged in curvilinear tribunes throughout the venue.

The facility opened in November 2003 and hosted two significant matches during the UEFA Euro 2004 tournament, including Netherlands versus Czech Republic competition.

The Portuguese national team plays selected international fixtures at this venue, which previously served as home ground for SC Beira Mar until 2015.

Located 5.5 kilometers from Aveiro city center, the stadium accommodates 30,127 spectators and connects to major cities through regular train services to Porto and Lisbon.

Portuguese architect Tomás Taveira designed this €63 million facility, which received the IOC/IAKS Award Gold in 2005 for its architectural excellence.
