Lac de Dulene, lake
Lac de Dulene is a reservoir in Serbia created in 1964 by damming a river to supply water to the region. The lake is surrounded by green hills and trees whose reflections dance on the calm water surface.
The dam was built in 1964 to supply water to the city of Kragujevac and improve the region's water management. This construction project marked a turning point for the local area and permanently changed the landscape.
The lake is mainly visited by local people who fish or take walks along its shores. The water reflects the sky and creates a calm setting where visitors seek simple moments in nature.
The lakeshore is easily accessible for walks, especially during warmer months when visitors commonly come to relax. The location is not crowded, making it a quiet place where you can enjoy the surroundings at your own pace.
The lake is part of a larger water system called Vodojaža and connected to the nearby Grošnica Lake. This connection shows how the lakes in the region are linked and managed together as one system.
