National Museum of Kragujevac

The National Museum of Kragujevac is a public institution housing six main collections covering natural history, archaeological finds, coins and medals, traditional crafts, art objects, and regional records. The displays are arranged thematically to present each subject clearly, featuring items that span from ancient times to recent decades.

The museum's origins trace to collections started by Prince Milos in the early 1800s, which were expanded by objects from a German naturalist of that period. It was officially established as a public institution in 1949, transforming from private holdings into a regional museum.
