Šumarice Memorial Park

Šumarice Memorial Park is a memorial complex in Kragujevac with various monuments and sculptures dedicated to the victims of World War II. The site includes multiple memorial structures spread across the grounds, featuring the prominent Interrupted Flight sculpture created by artist Miodrag Živković.

The site became a place of remembrance following mass executions by occupation forces in October 1941. Over subsequent decades, the area was gradually developed into a memorial park with monuments and museums.
